During October 10-11, 2024, the "Gheorghe Ionescu-Sișești" Academy of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences in Romania hosted the 12th General Assembly of the Union of European Academies for Applied Sciences in Agriculture, Food and Nature (UEAA). 
Evenimentul a adunat personalități de marcă ale științei agricole europene și a inclus un simpozion științific cu tema „Noile tehnici de cercetare și progresul agricol.” 
With the presidency in the following two years at ASAS Romania, this forum supports the development of agriculture in the context of climate change and the conservation of natural resources.
